Reading this post will help you become a better woodworker, but going into the shop after you are done will do far more for you. Reading and research is great. Learning new tips and tricks is very helpful.
However, there is nothing more beneficial than making some sawdust.
If you are stuck in your woodworking process, and need a little something to get you going, then start a project.
It doesn’t have to be massive, it just has to exist. This can be as simple as making a cutting board from scraps, or a wooden ring.
Anything you do in the shop that gets you out there is a win for your woodworking ability. If you think about something that you need, it can be a double win after you make it.

If you are completely stuck, maybe start following people for inspiration. The social media age has made it really easy to peep in on people and see what they are doing. If you find someone that you like, you can watch what they are making. It may give you some inspiration.
